Men's Fraternity

Men's Fraternity Sunday School Class - We meet in Room 3 at 9:30AM. During the year we will have a diverse selection of DVD based topics with ample time for discussion. Current plans are:

"Mens Fraternity starting Faith Hope and Luck study on October 29" - Our faith in God often hinges on his activity—or inactivity—in our daily experiences. When our prayers are answered, our faith soars. When God is silent, it becomes harder to trust him. When God shows up in an unmistakable way, our confidence in him reaches new heights. But when he doesn't come through, our confidence often wanes. But it doesn't have to be that way—it's not supposed to be that way.

This 5-part series by Andy Stanley is guaranteed to transform your thinking about faith. You will discover the difference between faith and hope; you will be presented with a definition for faith that will shed new light on both the Old and New Testaments; and you will learn what you can expect of God every time you come to him with a request.

"Men’s Faternity starting “anxious for nothing” by Max Lucado on December 3rd" - In this five-session video Bible study, bestselling author Max Lucado explores God’s treatment plan for anxiety found in Philippians 4:4–8. As you follow this prescription – celebrating God’s goodness, asking for his help, leaving your concerns with him, and meditation on good things – you will experience God’s peace. This is a peace that “transcends all understanding” and will help you reframe the way you look at your fears.

While anxiety is a part of life, it doesn’t have to dominate your life. You can talk yourself off the ledge and view bad news through the lens of God’s sovereignty. You can discover a life of calm and develop tools for combating the onslaught of anxiety.
